Tonight, on the way to share our calling at a sectional meeting, Matt and I asked God for on the spot support commitments and services. We were SO excited to see what God was going to do. After worship, Brother Taylor asked if anyone had a testimony to share...no one said a word. I didn't say a word. He asked a second time and still nothing. I was lying. YES! I have testimony to share, I could talk for years about the amazing things that God is doing in me, my family, my small group, etc. I blew it.
When service was over, I apologized to God; He told me, "You trust me to answer prayer, because you've seen me do big things. Why then, when some one asks you to share testimony of what I've have done, are you silent"? From now on, I commit to always speak up if ever there is an opportunity to give testimony. I always have something to say because my God is faithful, even when I am not.
